As the Summer passes by,
With the rising joy of it all,
Time will eventually let itself go and fall,
Hopefully into something better for us all.
And as the colors fade,
Through the darkness of your day,
And the brightness of your night,
Dream forever for what you know is right.
For you see my friend,
In our infinite lives,
Where they begin is where they will end,
So again and again,
Enjoy your last breathes,
For they will always show you the true beauty of death.
And in time,
When you can finally adapt to its infinite change,
And truly appreciate it all,
Find the joy in your life,
And never let go of its beauty through this Michigan Fall.
