A Michigan Fall-
As the Summer passes by, With the rising joy of it all, Time will eventually let itself go and fall, Hopefully into something better for us all. And as the colors fade, Through the darkness of your day, And the brightness of your night, Dream forever for what you know is right. For you see my friend, In our infinite lives, Where they begin is where they will end, So again and again, Enjoy your last breathes, For they will always show you the true beauty of death. And in time, When you can finally adapt to its infinite change, And truly appreciate it all, Find the joy in your life, And never let go of its beauty through this Michigan Fall. -(Elliot Gray Van Orman)

Believe-
When Heaven gives you Hell, Show your life that time will always tell, And when love gives you hate, Show your chance it has no fate. And when you've lost all your hope, Still believe enough to hold on to this rope, Even though some dreams are hard to let go, You must always trust what you know. For this is your life, And not theirs, So always believe in yourself enough not to care, About what others will have about you to share, And even when they've left you behind, Trust that in time, You'll make it there. -(Elliot Gray Van Orman) I just got home
near Detroit, Michigan tonight after a long train ride back from Chicago, IL. I took a filming trip to the Windy City from Thursday, November 1st to Monday, November 5th, 2012. I shot a series of commercials for an IT Service Company based in the city called Digerati Group. I shot a lot of interviews/b-roll footage at their downtown office building over the weekend. I also filmed plenty of B-Roll footage around the city of Chicago to mix in with everything. Tomorrow morning at my apartment near Detroit, Michigan I will begin logging and transferring all the hours and hours of footage I shot over the weekend. I hope to get a good start going on the editing, sound, and color this week. Hoping to have all the post work done for these commercials towards the end of November. I will be releasing all of these spots online for the company in the very near future. I'm very excited and happy that I got the chance to work on this project. The trip was a success! -(Elliot Gray Van Orman) Below are some stills I took on my old cellphone while shooting in Chicago this weekend.... |
